As the demonstrative sa may have a general meaning (276), ya may have it likewise and of course also the derivatives of both. Accordingly yaḥ… sa is not seldom = „who or whosoever… [he].” There are, however, various ways for emphasizing the generality of import, which are mentioned above (287). (*1)

指示代名詞に関して、saは概括的な意味をもつ（276）。yaはそれと同様の意味をもつ。もちろんのこと、これらの派生語も同様である。したがってyaḥ… sa（…である者は誰でも）は稀ではない。ただし、上述したように（287）、意味するところのものの一般性を強調するための様々な仕方がある（*1）。
